Starting a Blog with Bluehost and WordPress

Ever thought of starting your own blog to connect with like-minded people? And use it as a side hustle at the same time?!

I just recently started my own blog to help educate people on how to save more, plan for retirement, and tackle those student loans!

One day I hope this side hustle will give me the freedom to work from home and be my own boss!

Basically, it all boils down to your site name (domain), the server company (Bluehost), and the backbone of the site (WordPress).

Let’s get started!

Step 1: Choose your host and pick a domain name

Get started now for a free domain name! And Easy WordPress integration!

Once you do this we can talk about pricing. If you’re just starting out basic is all you need and paying yearly will get that price even lower!

Once you have that figured out, check to see if the name you want to use is available.

I chose something cheesy that went along with my idea of saving!

After that, you just enter billing info and buy any extras, but in all honesty, you probably don’t need them.

Step 2: WordPress

You’re going to have to log-in and create a username etc for WordPress. Once you do that pick a free theme and have fun!

You can do a site that is business or personal and once you have it all set click launch.

Once you do all this you can start to make money through ads, affiliates, and many other ways!
